This year I'll be donating a portion of the proceeds from my Document Your December kits to my friend Kendra to help in her fight against cancer.
I 'met' Kendra through Layle By Mail earlier this year when she ordered several of my kits. Over the course of a few months, a few kits, and a number of emails, she shared how much my kits were helping keep her mind off of her cancer diagnosis and gave her something to look forward to. After learning more about her story, I felt compelled to do something to help Kendra and her family. Since we met through my Layle By Mail kits, I felt strongly that the best way to help was through my kits since that is what brought us together :)
I asked Kendra to share a photo and a bit of her story with me so I could share it with you...
"Hello! My name is Kendra. I'm a 52 year old mom of four and am married to my best friend of 27 years. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma on my 52nd birthday. Upon seeing the oncologist we found out that they originally found the cancer in 2014 but my primary care doctor dropped the ball and didn't tell me and also didn't schedule the needed follow up CT scan. I call that a fork in the road of life. I could get angry or I could give it over to God and start the healing process. My family and I chose the later.
I already had fluid around my heart, and my lungs are the only thing that has ever gotten sick on me. The oncologist explained that the chemo cocktail they wanted to give me, called ABVD, "would cause heart damage and I would have to be closely monitored by a cardiologist." It can also affect the lungs. My SED rate was also 120 which put me at "unfavorable risk." That meant that it put me at a higher risk of the chemo not working. (SED is a measurement of inflammation in the body. It's a huge cancer causer.) That was a scary thought for us - to do chemo and destroy my immune system and also have it possibly not work. We went home to think on it and as I was coming around the corner to tell my husband that I didn't want to do chemo he said "I don't want you to do chemo honey." Sweet confirmation. Three of our four kids also called that day and said the same thing. (Our youngest lives at home and had already told me that.) It cemented it for me.
We decided on a natural protocol to heal the cancer. It entails eating only tons of cancer fighting raw veggies, a few fruits, nuts and seeds along with juicing 8 ounces of a powerful veggie juice cocktail loaded with cancer fighting enzymes. I drink 8 ounces every hour for eight hours. I also do two weekly infusions of high dose IV vitamin C to help stop cancer growth. I also do two weekly infusions of MAH/UBI. These take my blood and mix it with ozone and then run through a ultraviolet light to kill any bad things in the blood. Insurance doesn't cover any of the extremely expensive infusions. My bloodwork has been improving each month and my SED rate was steadily coming down. My last blood test went a little sideways but we are still trusting! God is good. All the time."
