Howdy friends! So, it's December 10th & I'm just now getting started with my December Daily. SHOOT! We were out of town the first few days of the month and when we got back I promptly got sick - going on 6 days now :( Just came back from the doctor and it's bronchitis. Of course it is, every year this time of year, rain or shine. You could practically set your watch by it.
To say I'm going stir crazy would be a gross understatement! So last night I buckled down and told myself I was going to get started, and I did.
The good news is that I had my album done ahead of time - thank goodness! All of the base pages were done, so all I really need to do is add photos and a story each day.
Here's my cover for 2016 - I used lots of products from Simple Stories' Classic Christmas collection, including the 2" Holiday SN@P! Binder -
December 1st -
I used a 2x2 pocket page for the 1st day - I always love to use this configuration - it's so fun to add little bits to each of the pockets.
I used the fuse to enclose a piece of faux christmas greenery and a gold star I made out of a piece of wire.
On the 1st we had our Simple Stories company Christmas party. With a family member in tow, we attended the Jazz game and then participated in the Fan Experience - we were all able to go down onto the basketball court after the game and shoot hoops. It was a pretty fun event! I printed 2x2 photos from the evening & inserted into several of the pockets. I added a pocket envelope as its own page & added the tickets from the game and the badge that let us down onto the court.

Our youngest son had a lacrosse tournament in Las Vegas, so we hopped in the car for a road trip. I'm using these awesome gold fold Pocket Pieces to number the days throughout my album. Always love a touch of gold :)
A quick tag with some washi for my journaling. LOTS of washi to be used in this book!
I adhered the photo to one of the Classic Christmas SN@P! Pages -

Feels good to finally be started. Off to work on a few more days!
