To say I've made a few changes in my life over the last few months would be an understatement! The latest news - and no, this is NOT an April Fools joke - is that I have a new job -
Today I started my first day as the Director of Marketing for Simple Stories!
As most of you know, I've worked for several different manufacturers over the years. Three years ago I made a decision to leave the scrapbook world from a 'job' perspective and go back into product management in the software world. I still scrapbooked, taught, and worked with manufacturers and magazines after that, more back to the 'hobby' side of things, I just wasn't living and breathing it every day.
And after three years, I realized I missed it. So today, I stepped back into that world - back to living and breathing it every day and I couldn't be more excited!
I'm so fortunate to have landed at Simple Stories - I've known Kevin and Amber since my Scenic Route and BasicGrey days. It's been so exciting to see the growth in their company and now I'll be a part of that, right there along side them and rest of their great team.
Very much looking forward to being back on this side of things again!
