Nope, that's not a dirty lens you're looking through, its snowflakes you see.
It's been snowing for a few hours so far this afternoon and this is the view out our front door.
Nope, that's not a field in front of our house, it's the street.
The UNPLOWED street. The street that will most likely remain unplowed for the next few days. Loving our 4 wheel drive this time of year!
Weather man is predicting we'll have 12 inches of snow by tonight, with more snowstorms just about every day through Christmas.
Looks like a white Christmas it will be! Yippee!
The boys have been begging to go skiing, but the temp (12 degrees this weekend down here means at least 0 degrees at the resorts) combined with the windchill factor (drops the temp to between -5 and -10) means we'd have 2 very unhappy boys within minutes after hitting the slopes. So, we wait until we have a bluebird day and then head up.
I started with an old flashcard for the 18th and covered it with a KI Memories sheer.
I love having the cards front and center so I can look through them throughout the holidays.
One of these years, I'll do something with all of them. One of the things I look forward to every year as I put our Christmas decorations away after the holidays is going through the photo cards from the past years and seeing how much all of the kids have grown.
I have a good friend who went in for a double mastectomy this afternoon. I was able to talk to her on the phone this morning as she arrived at the hospital. She has on of the most amazingly positive attitudes of anyone I know. Thinking about her a lot today, her family and her 2 boys that are Jack and Sam's age. If you're the praying kind, please send good thoughts her way.
