Happy Thanksgiving, friends! And if part of your day doesn't including stuffing yourself until you can barely move, happy Thursday to you!
I woke up early this morning and tackled my scrapbook room. What a mess it was!!! Be thankful I didn't include the before photos, it was pretty scary.
I'm SO messy when I work, it's scary.
Last year we moved my scrapbook room from the basement upstairs to what had been our office. Good thing is that it has a ton more natural light. Bad thing is that it's the room to the left, just as you walk in the front door. The room that everyone sees right when they walk in our front door.
Not so good when it's a big mess!
So, it's clean. And it will stay that way until another project comes up!
Finished up a project last night that I've been working on for a week or so. I was inspired by Ali's post on her blog back in October about creating a Daily December mini book. The idea is to have the book all put together ahead of time and then add photos and journaling each day in December. Brilliant!
Here are pics of my front and back cover. I used thick clear acetate from Clear Scraps for the cover so they give the book some support.
Lots of red and green through the 26th and then green ad blue and gold through the 31st.
I'll share a page each day in December as I add photos and journaling.
Headed to Nick's mom's house in about an hour for Thanksgiving with his side of the family.
Tonight I leave on the red eye to Toronto, through Monday. My friend Vicki is picking me up tomorrow at the airport and we'll head straight to the One of a Kind arts and crafts show. I went to their spring show a few years ago and OH MY! Just like a giant Etsy, but in person where you can see, touch and feel! Such cool, trendy stuff. Lots of fun artists. Can't wait!
On Saturday, Vicki and I are teaching all day at Scrapalicious. Really looking forward to this, it promises to be a lot of fun, and good times!
More shopping on Sunday with Vicki and then headed home Monday afternoon.
I'll be back Tuesday with the December 1st pages of my December Daily album.
Have a great weekend!!
