Thought I'd share some photos from the birthday celebrations!
Nick and me at the KT Tunstall concert on Wednesday. Don't look to close at this one, those 40 year old wrinkles are starting to appear...
Our picnic before the concert started with our closest friends Cary and Karen. They're the best. Nick and I have known Cary since college and Karen and I have been friends for 15 years.
The concert. It really is the most beautiful setting. So many trees, gardens, GREEN. And a wonderful canyon breeze. KT Tunstall was fabulous in concert. She's tiny with a really strong Scottish accent. And boy was she a hoot!
So that was Wednesday, the night of my birthday.
Last night we had some family and friends over for a little party. Nick cooked up a HUGE fajita feast. Lots of kids running around having fun. And lots of adults enjoying a margarita (or 2, or maybe 3) and having fun.
Someone must have clued Sam in here on how old his dear old Mom is....
And the candles on the cake - the ONLY proof out there that I did actually, in fact, turn 40...
