i was at his school last week for a little program and a lady walked past me, stopped, turned around and asked if i was sam's mom. i had not idea who she was. i told her yes and she was amazed, said he looked just like me so she figured i had to be his mom. i've never noticed a big resemblance. jack, on the other hand, is a 'mini-me' of nick.
did this layout over the holiday. papers from our Cape Town line, with a little Sassafrass Lass thrown in to mix it up (green arrows). sam is such a thrill-seeker - has been since he was a little thing. we went to a Lagoon, local amusement park, this fall with nick's family. took these shots while ON the rollercoaster. this particular roller coaster is one of my favorites. it was built in 1921 and is wooden. it feels really rickety when you ride it and it has some steep parts, makes it loads of fun. a little challenging though when you're turned around in your seat with a camera around your neck, speeding down the steep tracks, attempting to hold on for dear life AND get a good shot without shaking the camera...
love the last one of sam, just captures his personality and his joy of life.
happy birthday, buddy!
