It's December - hooray! My favorite time of year for so many reasons. One of the biggest is this project, December Daily. This is the 10th year - YES!, 10! - I've participated in this project and I honestly have to say I love it just as much this year as I did back in 2008 when I first started.
A few nights ago I sat down and looked through the past 9 years of my albums. With tears in my eyes I read stories, looked at pictures and once again realized how thankful I am for this project! There is no way in a million years that I would remember so many of the wonderful memories over the years; I'm so thankful to have these albums to look back on. Our boys are now 20 and 17 and even they love to sit down every Christmas and look through the books. Teenage boys - that really says something!
With that said, it's time to jump into 2017! This year I'm using the Simple Stories Very Merry SN@P! Holiday Binder. It's a 6x8 size with 2" rings - lots of room to add lots of stuff throughout the month!
Before the month starts, I have the cover decorated and all of the base/foundation pages inside set up and ready to go. I learned a few years ago that by doing that I have a MUCH better time of keeping caught up since I'm not having to create from scratch each day. I don't get hung up on the foundation pages though, sometimes what I did just doesn't fit with the day, if I want to change things around, add more pages, take things away etc, I do.
I've used the Simple Stories Very Merry collection for my foundation pages, but as always, I mix in lots of other products from different manufacturers as I go - I love that look!
