Remember back on Day 10 when I was talking about the weather, or lack thereof, and 'the calm before the storm'… We woke yesterday morning to life in a snow globe!
12" of brand new snow, with at least another 6 accumulating throughout the day!
School didn't declare it a 'snow day'; however, by 8 am (school starts at 7:55!), they had sent out an email saying that although they were not calling it a snow day, they were concerned about the kids' safety and they would be held harmless if they didn't go to school. Our boys were already there. By 10 am, they were both texting me saying that the teachers had not made it in yet and could they come home. So we had a snow day - the first one I can recall with the boys!
Here are the pictures out of the book so you can see the detail
That snow covered tree in our backyard - was taken at 10 am this morning, before another 6 inches had accumulated. Same for this shot from our back patio.
I added this PNG file from Kerri Bradford Studio as an overlay on top of my photo in Photoshop and then printed it out. I then added the glitter snowflake to the top of the photo
I added the Let It Snow PNG overlay from Kerri Bradford Studios to the same sized photo in Photoshop of one of our sons snow blowing the driveway (would you believe it had to be done 4 times yesterday?!), printed it out, adhered to the back of the other photo, punched holes and then inserted as a page. I love adding bigger photos like this to my book!
