Hello, my name is PROCRASTINATOR.
I was late in getting our Christmas cards ordered this year, so I paid a rush fee to have them delivered. All was good, they arrived on the 10th, I even included the card in my December daily that day. Then I proceeded to procrastinate until Sunday night to get them addressed and then mailed yesterday.
So yesterday was all about that.
I used the glassine envelope that the stamps came in for the base, then added some journaling, stickers and inserted a photo in the envelope of the stack of Christmas cards addressed, stamped and ready to be mailed.
On the back, well - I called it like it is...
As a true procrastinator does, I had an excuse. Well, kind of. Something happened with our Christmas address label list last year. I spent a few hours updating it, printed the labels last year and all was good, or so I thought. Went to print labels last week and could not find the list for the life of me, could only find the list from 2011.
SOOOO, I finally sat my behind down on Sunday night for a few hours and redid the list. And mailed the cards yesterday.
According to Pracrastinators Anonymous (hmm, I wonder if there is such a thing), the first step is admitting you have a problem. Sure, I'm a procrastinator, I'll be the first person to admit it. It's just DOING something about it that's the problem... I keep putting that off :)
Excuse me while I head off to tackle some of the other things on my list that I've procrastinated....
