It was an unseasonably warm 54 degrees yesterday at 4:00 pm. Nice if you aren't a fan of the cold. Not so nice if you like to ski and your boys have seasons passes to a local ski resort and have been itching to go skiing!
The warm weather and lack of snow didn't stop our oldest, Jack. There's a bit of man-made snow, so he said he was able to ski 1/3rd of the mountain.
I added the snowflake SN@P! Cut from the Simple Stories' December Documented collection to the left pocket - LOVE the SN@P! Cuts and how you get a peek of what's next through the die cut. I adhered the number 1 sticker to the outside/top of the pocket.
I added some OOOOOLD Heidi Swapp snowflakes to the right pocket page along with some silver sequins and silver & light blue TINY micro beads, then sewed the top shut. The 'let it snow' pennant on the photo is from a package of Christmas gift tags I found at Target.
I didn't need to do anything to the top pockets for the back other than add the little 'snow' piece below the snowflake die cut.
I adhered another SN@P! Cut to the back of the photo as well as a 3x4 SN@P! card with journaling about Jack skiing.
Here's a look at what Day 1 looks like inside the album - I love how you can see parts of Day 2 peeking through the snowflake die cut on the left and the pocket on the right!
