Guess the Mayan's were wrong, eh? Hee hee...
If you're playing along with December Daily this year - CONGRATS!! We're now 75%+ of the way done, we're in the home stretch!
The Christmas cards are still coming in the mail daily at a furious pace! We received 12 more yesterday. Love getting Christmas cards, especially the photo ones.
For today, I used one of the Christmas cards we received yesterday - from my mom. Love the door on the front with the wreaths and the gatefold. As soon as I pulled it out of the envelope, I knew I was going to put it to good use.
Yesterday the boys delivered our neighbor gifts. It's cold here. BITTER cold - 10 degrees last night when they headed out. Had to include a photo of Sam's get-up to deliver presents.
Poked a small hole through the doorplate on the front and looped the tag through with bakers twine. I printed the photo of Sam to fit in the center of the card. Covered one side of the gatefold with patterned paper, stamped 'okay' (from the December Studio Calico kit) and colored a Studio Calico woodgrain arrow with a black marker and added that as well. Covered the other side of the gatefold with white cardstock, added the Merry & Bright circle (found that little gem on Pinterest, you can download that here), then added an ANCIENT metal Making Memories present and journaling
And the back
For the back I added the Happy Holidays gift tag (found that little gem ALSO on Pinterest, you can download that here - awesome printable gift tags for wrapped presents).
Here's what it looks like inside the book
