Ever since I can remember - at least for the last 10 years - Nick's mom, "Grandma C" has picked up the kids from school on Wednesdays and spent the afternoon with them.
'Wednesdays with Grandma C' I call it (a la Tuesday's With Morrie). The boys love it. During the summer, it's the entire day. They go swimming, miniature golf, sometimes just hang out. During the school year, they go get treats and then hang out.
It's a great time for the kids to have some one on one time with Grandma C. And they love it! She's a pretty special lady!
