I'll be the first to admit that I have to be the most impatient sewer ever! 30 minutes into a project, I want it done. So, don't look too closely at any of my projects, that impatient traight of mine often shows itself in the *quality* of the sewing!

The Graduate

When I say it's 8th grade and not 12th, you'd never guess it by looking at him.

Tonight Jack graduated from 8th grade. Despite the fact that it looks like it could have been his high school graduation looking at the size of him (we're a TALL family!), we're still a good 4 years away from that milestone. Thank goodness!

It was a nice, short, and sweet ceremony - only 58 kids in his class. A few speakers, a few musical numbers and a great slideshow of each of the kids with a baby photo, their 8th grade school photo and then a quote of their choosing.

And if you know Jack, you know that this quote fits him. Fits him to a T!

We're so proud of him!

Ahh, December Daily! So excited to participate again this year. Hard to believe this is year number 4 for me. I've really enjoyed looking back at the past 3 years books to get motivated to jump in again this year!

2010 December Daily Mini Book On Day 2 of this year's book, Jack, my 13 year old son, said to me "I'm glad you're making one of those books again this year mom, they're really cool". Makes it totally worth it when all is said and done!
