Woohoo!
All done.
Happy to have it done. The last day wasn't bad, not bad at all. Happy to say my attitude is much improved from the post for the 24th :)
Thanks again so much to Ali for the concept of December Daily. Seriously, one of my all time favorite projects. Ever. This year wraps up my 4th year of doing December Daily and I love it just as much this year as I did the first year.
So here's the 25th -
I really liked the flap page I did earlier in the month, so I did another similar one for the 25th. The 'outside' white is a 12x5.5" piece of flocked patterned paper folded in half to create kind of a 'jacket'.
I adhered photos to the inside and outside flaps of the 'jacket'. Just love the photo of Nick and the boys sitting on the back porch before we headed out to brunch at Nick's sister's house!
I picked up a few things from K&Co's Smash line the other day and used them on the 25th - the metal 'like' piece, the black and white polka dot tape (less see through than the other polka dot tape I've used throughout the month) and the journaling spot on the front. Super fun stuff!
Then I printed slightly longer photos from the day (about an inch longer, so they'd stick out from the 'jacket' when the jacket is closed) adhered them back to back and they 'float' inside the jacket.
Here's a pic of the pages in the book so you can see how the photo insert sits in the 'jacket'
Also finished the front and back inside covers -
I created a pocket on the back inside cover and put a bunch of lists I made over the holidays inside the pocket. Me and my lists....
Measuring a whopping 3.25" thick, here's the book closed.
