A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of teaching for the 3rd time at the 2011 MemoryWorks Retreat.
It's such a great event. Amber and Kevin are gracious hosts and put their heart and soul into putting it on. And fun to see my friend Jodi added to their team! Jodi and I met years ago on a trip to Australia to teach when I was working for Scenic Route and she was working for Daisy D's.
Last fall Rebecca from Pink Paislee contacted me and asked if I would design and teach their class for the MemoryWorks event this year. Worked out really well since the event is local for me, just a short drive.
I taught a layout class using their super cute Hometown Summer line
The classes were a short 1 hour and 15 minutes long, so not a lot of time to get down and dirty in the details. Boy though was class ever hopping with some of the students determined to finish both during class! Here are the 2 layouts for the class -
So fun to see lots of new faces this year, faces from past MemoryWorks retreats, and even some faces from Inspiration Unlimited!
Hey, speaking of Inspiration Unlimited, I have some fun news. Lots of manufacturers have started sharing sneak peeks of their CHA Summer releases. Have you had a chance to check out Pink Paislee's new lines? Here's one I'm super excited for because it's the line I'll be basing my class around for this year's Inspiration Unlimited!
