Wow. Wow, wow, WOW.
That's all I have to say.
Yah right. You know me. I can't keep my mouth shut.
That's all I have to say? As if!
Inspiration Unlimited was amazing.
Such a fabulous time. So many great women attending, a great venue, wonderful friends, teachers, etc.
I went under the 'guise' of helping out. I did a lot of that, but went primarily to teach a surprise class on Friday night. And then had an awesome (unexpected) day of relaxation on Saturday, starting with a run, a few hours at the pool, and lunch and shopping with my friend Michelle, one of the other surprise teachers.
Super excited to announce that I'll be back at Inspiration Unlimited in 2011, teaching again in full capacity with a 3 hour class for all of the students! Thrilled that Teresa invited me back again, can't wait!
I told the class on Friday night that I felt like I'd never told so many lies in all of my life. Seeing so many friends from past years telling me they were surprised and excited to see me there (I had to decline being a full blown teacher for this year when Teresa asked at the end of last year's event - long story as to why I had to say no, I won't drag you through it!), asking what I was doing there, lying and saying I couldn't stay away (true) and that I was just there to help (not true).
And I tell you what, the ladies in my class Friday night were troopers!!! They'd been busy, busy, busy for 12 hours of classes and inspiration when they arrived at my class at 8 pm. I'd have been dead to the world, but they were super excited to be there creating and they had fun doing it.
I worked with Studio Calico (thanks April!) to design a really fun layout class using products from several of their lines. And I have good news for those of you that couldn't attend the event or didn't end up in my surprise class.
I kitted EXTRA KITS!
The kit is $25 and includes photos and step by step instructions to make two double page 12x12 layouts. The layouts use a triangle shape/template in some fun ways (hence the 'Playing with Triangles').
The kit has lots of fun Studio Calico products, including
- Papers from their Documentary, Anthology and brand new Elementary lines
- Fabrips (really cool fabric sticker strips)
- 2 different alpha sticker fonts
- Label stickers
- Bird and star rub-ons from their brand new release
- Baker's twine
If you're interested in ordering a kit, you can order directly from me (shoot me an email at email@example.com) or from Ginger (firstname.lastname@example.org), the organizer of the event.
After this past weekend, I'm all sold out of past class kits with the exception of a LIMITED number of this mini album kit using BasicGrey's Olivia line -
This kit also includes color photos and step by step instructions. If you didn't have a chance to grab this one when I had it up for sale earlier this summer, now's your chance! If you purchase both this kit and the Studio Calico layout kit, you can get both for $65 (a $75 value).
