On Saturday we did our annual gingerbread house party at Nick's sister's house. She makes really easy houses out of graham crackers and hot glue, so they're really easy for the kids to add to. Always seems like they eat more candy than ends up on the houses, and there's a LOT of candy on the houses!
I made a pocket out of 2 pieces of patterned paper and then used a large circle punch at the top. Another vintage playing card on the front. I tucked a couple of photos in the pocket from the party and journaled on a Christmas tag.
After the party the boys and I headed to the mall to do some shopping for Nick. On the list - new cologne. We must have smelled every stinkin' one there. The boys got a kick out of smelling the coffee beans to clear their noses after every few smells. Every once in a while Sam would pipe up to the ever-so-patient sales lady - "can we get another sniff of those beans"?!
That night we headed downtown for dinner and the Jazz basketball game. Lots of stuff to capture on the 13th!
