SCHOOOOOOOLS OUT. FOR . THE SUMMER. Can't remember who sang it, but it's stuck in my head.
School's almost out for the summer for my kids, just a few more days. And they're chomping at the bit, to say the least. In fact, they're playing it on Guitar Hero on the Wii almost daily. It's one of the few songs that Sam can play on the guitar. Play over and over and over and over and over and over and OVER again....
So we're singing that song at my house.
But here at Scenic Route we're singing a different tune. Something along the lines of
GOTTA GO BACK, BACK, BACK, BACK TO SCHOOOOOL AGAIN. WHOA, WHOA. I GOTTA GO, BACK TO SCHOOOOOOOL. AGAIN. And I CAN remember who sang this one. Michelle Pfeiffer and friends in the movie Grease 2. Yah. You're impressed that I know that, aren't you.
Why are we singing that song you ask?

Any residents of Appleton, Wisconsin out there? That's where the name Appleton comes from. The papers within the line are named after different streets in Appleton, Wisconson - First Street, Second Street, Third Street - kind of like 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade - you get the picture!
