Have you heard of it?
Wikipedia defines it this way....
"Murphy's law is a popular adage in Western culture that most likely originated at Edwards Air Force Base in 1948. The Law broadly states that things will go wrong in any given situation, if you give them a chance."
Well guess who's living it this week?
L'il ole me.
I was home yesterday. No, no, no. Not taking a break from the show prep. Oh no.
Home FLAT on my back with a nasty flu bug.
And wouldn't you know it, what great timing. The week before the show.
Are you a glass half-full person?
If so, you might say that at least I got sick BEFORE the show.
IF you were a glass half-full person. heh.
So, I'm feeling better today. A few pounds lighter for my troubles (see, trying to be a glass half-full person).
But, you know Murphy's Law....
If something can go wrong, it will.
Remember my last few posts about the website?
Our new host is having technical issues.
Wouldn't you know it.
They 'hope' to have it working tomorrow.
Funny, they didn't really seem to understand our pleas when we mentioned the importance of getting our 'scrapbooking' website going.
So, hopefully tomorrow is the day.
And tomorrow is the last day of giveaways.
Until then, today's (and yesterday's) winners -
Vicki Mulick (email@example.com)
Amy J (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Beth Warren (email@example.com)
For those of you that are still holding out hopes to win tomorrow, is the glass half empty or half full?
