Doing some work from home today before I head over to the boys' school for their Halloween Parade and school parties. They were so excited to get their costumes on this morning. Sam is always an early riser. Jack - he's more like me. A little harder to rouse in the morning, but once he gets going, he's in a good mood and ready to face the day.
Amazing how the thought of Halloween, the Parade, and their parties at school manages to get them both right out of bed bright and early, ready to start the day!
I was asked by Beth Root, owner of Creating Inspirations to be one of their 2 guest designers for the month of November. I had the opportunity to play with the awesome kit that she put together for the month - some fun Scenic Route papers from our Cape Town line, some fun Cherry Arte and Heidi Grace papers (2 of my other favorite scrapbook companies), some Fancy Pants chipboard (yUUUUMMMy!), some of Rhonna's stamps, and some other fun things thrown in.
More journaling done with words cut from my collection of old children's books. I had an idea of what I wanted to do with the journaling and started looking for words and phrases to fit. Took me a LONG time to find all of the words! When I realized it was 1 in the morning and that I'd been working on finding the words for a few hours, I finally gave up and typed 3 of the words on the computer that I was having trouble finding in the books.
I'll be doing an online chat at Creating Inspirations on November 9th. I'll let you know what time as the date gets closer; I'd love to have you pop over and join in the chat!!
